Edgware Jobs is an independent local job board set up to serve Edgware and the surrounding neighbourhoods in north-west London and south Hertfordshire. We run the site from the area to help residents find decent work nearby, cutting down on expensive, crowded commutes into central London when suitable roles exist much closer to home.
Our listings cover Edgware (HA8), Canons Park, Burnt Oak, Colindale, Queensbury, Mill Hill, and Stanmore, as well as neighbouring commercial centres like Elstree, Borehamwood, and Watford. Roles on the site come from two sources: local businesses who post directly to us, alongside vacancies pulled in from licensed job feeds to give a full picture of the local market.
You will find work across every trade and sector here, reflecting the variety of the local economy. We feature warehouse and distribution jobs around Apex Corner and the M1, retail and customer service along Station Road, care work across Barnet and Harrow, as well as administrative jobs, hospitality, teaching support, and building trades.
What we are trying to do
Our aim is straightforward: to make local hiring practical and affordable for businesses in and around Edgware, while helping residents find work they can walk, cycle, or take a quick bus to. When people work locally, they spend less time stuck on the Northern line or queuing at Apex Corner, and local employers get reliable staff who actually live in the community.
The area we cover
We work across Edgware (HA8) and roughly 16 km around it , in Greater London. That takes in Canons Park, Burnt Oak, Mill Hill, Stanmore, Colindale, Queensbury, Elstree, Borehamwood, Harrow Weald, Hendon, Bushey, Kingsbury, Finchley and Watford. Most of what we list is reachable from Edgware Underground Station, Mill Hill Broadway Railway Station, M1 Junction 4.
How the listings work
